Elle lui donne des résonances plastiques et une élévation. L’artiste s’adresse à nous en dépliant ses émotions non comme une fiction  mais comme une toile… »

Béna est  née à Lyon (France) en 1961.

A 30 ans, elle se forme à la peinture dans différents ateliers de la région lyonnaise. De cette formation naît l’envie d’aller au-delà,  à la recherche de son univers pictural.
A 40 ans, la peinture devient son métier. Son espace s’élargit et commence une part de vie l’amenant de France en Chine où elle vit plus de deux ans. Depuis, des liens très forts l’unissent à ce pays et son désir d’ailleurs est de plus en plus vif.
Son Art se nourrit de chaque nouvelle expérience.  Elle vacille de l’ image vers l’abstraction, de l’abstraction à la performance… l’installation… La recherche est continue… Toujours… D’autres lieux, de nouvelles rencontres, des sensations profondes ou éphémères… Parfois le vide, parfois le plein… Mais toujours une réponse en  Art… Seule ou avec d’autres… Tournée vers demain…

Bena was born in Lyon (France) in 1961.

At 30,She learns  painting  in various workshops in the Lyon region. Of This training is born the desire to go beyond, in search of his pictorial universe.
In 40 years, the painting becomes her profession . Its space expands  and begins a part of life bringing her from France to China where she lived more than two years. Since then, very strong links unite her with this country and her desire moreover is more and more lively. her Art feeds on every new experience. She vacillate :  image towards the abstraction, of the abstraction to the performance to the installation… The research is continuous … Always . other places, other new meetings, the deep or ephemeral sensations. Sometimes empty space, sometimes height space .But always an Art answer. Only or with the others … Turned towards tomorrow.
